The Braben-Jenner Hot Five plays the music of early 20th Century America. The band's repertoire includes the ragtime of Scott Joplin and the jot jazz of Sidney Bechet, Louis Armstrong, Johnny Dodds, Jelly-Roll Morton, King Oliver, Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington and Fats Waller, all reinterpreted and played with plenty of passion, skill and respect for the originals. They will take you back in time to the great jazz, blues and ragtime of early New Orleans
