Passport To Airlie Sunshine Coast
Marcoola

Musicians in and around the Sunshine Coast in July will be competing in Australia's largest live Original Music Competition to represent the region at the National Finals at this years Airlie Beach Festival of Music (Nov 8-10). Held at the Iconic Surfair Beach Hotel (opposite the airport), solo performers to bands will be performing to impress the audience and judges alike. Now in its seventh year, former acts competing have gone on to successful musical careers. Last years Local Winners Mantis Empire performed at several venues at Airlie, sold out their merchandising, made many friends and connections (and some bookings). Sunday afternoons in July from 2pm till 6pm Surfair will be the place to be to see some of the finest performers and bands vying for their passport to Airlie. Finals will be Sunday, 4th August (2pm-7pm).
The winner receives a $1000 performance fee, four nights' accommodation, VIP festival passes, a spot on Music View TV, and the chance to play their own music in paradise.
